Today during Science Co-Op...we went outside to visit "our tree". The young scientists noticed that there were still leaves on the tree, but that they were light brown and orange in color.
LW: noticed that each friend's boots made different prints in the snow. Her boots left star prints in the snow. CB: noticed that there were animal foot prints in the snow. "They are little..see their small toe prints." Some other children had fun experimenting and observing shadows of theirs as well of their friends. Today in Buddies we watched the book "Chrysanthemum" by: Kevin Henkes. After the movie we discussed what it meant to be respectful as well as disrespectful. What parts of the movie showed both.
We also played "Duck, DUck, Goose!" inside, as it was cold out. |
