We let the spider and her babies go, in the greenhouse. The children were surprised at how hot it was in the greenhouse, even with the sides rolled up halfway.

monkey: mono duck: pato dog: perro elephant: elefante penguin: pinguino crocodile: cocodrilo bear: oso horse: caballo bunny: conejo turtle: tortuga lion: leon tiger: tigre Today, in art, the children learned about color and texture. Next week, they will be adding more detail to these paintings.
A classmate spotted this spider on the playground. He asked to catch it, as he didn't want the younger kids to be afraid of it. We caught it in a cup and put it on the other side of the fence. This spider was given the name "Joe".
This week, in Mentor Buddies, we read the book Leaf Man. The children teamed up with a "Buddy" (or 2) and started creating their own "leaf people."
