We walked out and visited one of the school composters (behind the green house). The children noticed that there were a few snails inside as well as what looked to be old hay (grass). We put a few of the pumpkin pieces in the composter (eyes/mouth). After exploring the composter, we ventured inside the green house. The children noticed that it was warm inside. Some of the children remembered letting the butterflies go in there last year. We noticed that the school is reusing an old wooden cubby as a flower box. : )
