Next week, we will begin to talk about Martin Luther King Jr, as we have no school on Monday January 21st. We will also be talking about the "Friendship Quilt" that we will be starting in the next few weeks (Ms. Anita and myself will be sending home a letter about how all of you can create a section of the quilt at home).
Today in Mentor Buddies with Ms. Anita's class, we talked about "respect". Ms. Anita read the book The Crayon Box That Talked. We then talked about how we all go to school together and we are learning to get along with each other. We may look different and like different things, but we are all unique. We all have one kind and loving heart. If we were the same, it would be boring! Next week, we will begin to talk about Martin Luther King Jr, as we have no school on Monday January 21st.
