During Community Circle this week we have been learning a new song called "One". We will be performing it in the near future for our families.
This weeks curriculum began talking about the butterfly life cycle and evolved into talking about the differences between caterpillars and worms. We have read assorted books wrote down some of the similarities and differences among them. (ie. caterpillars have legs, worms don't, Caterpillars change into something else, worms, don't. Also where they live is different as well as what they look like). We have started a classroom mural and will be adding pieces to it as the month goes on. The mural is based on the season of Spring!
Science Co-Op: Caterpillar observations & the lifecycle of the butterfly. We read the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar (Eric Carle) and then we created our own pictures of the life cycle of the butterfly.
The weather is beginning to cooperate and it is feeling more and more like Spring. The children In Preschool 3 and 4 enjoyed playing outside together..they had fun in the sun!
